Why a Methodology Coordinates
A methodology is critical for organising thinking and mobilising solutions. It connects different situations and sites, and makes sense of data, and it coordinates actions. And it allows learning, i.e. reflection, innovation and growth.

In 2017, The Economics of Universal Wellbeing was formulated with a vision of 12 sectors, integrating the 8 functions of a sustainable enterprise, and this was extended further in 2023, with Bilberries Blue ROSEHut emergencing to incorporate developmental healthcare & the pedadogy of possibilities in shaping and building nature-human nature systems in the Anthropocene.

As we applied the BB ROSEHut methodology to a rainforest highlands township development project and several small innovative sites, further distillations included the formulation of 5 Pillars of Sustainable Rural-Urban Development, Site-Specific Microsystems, and the formulation of A Living Masterplanning of a Sustainable Pioneers’ Capsule.

#1000ROSEHuts emergenced as the platform for AI Generative Blueprints possibilities, together with development of community knowledge repository apps & learning support platform on mighty networks.

Inclusive Gifting, Research, Innovation, Education & Skills Development
In tandem to the sites analysis and applications, it became an imperative to develop meaningful and workable skills development. This became living research, as well as gifting, personal stewardship, education, innovation, and applications in TEUWB businesses through a mentoring and coaching environment, as well as personal performance evaluation and learning & development tools.

The Inclusive Sustainability Stewardship Apprentice Programmes became our critical pedagogical understanding that the protection and provision for the vulnerable included dignity of work, and must allow and support living creativity, voice, participation, and pedagogical documentation.

Care, Meaningful & Equitable Livelihoods
It became our precious insight regarding transition. Whether in crisis or innovation or lifelong vulnerability or in illness or accidents or as we age, we need a way of living that allows meaningful and equitable livelihoods. A care economy is the foundation of development of freedom.

Thought Leaders
We attended several significant youth, philanthropic, impact summits between 2024 and 2025. We took our 1st microsummit format in 2016 and extended that curation to a Tok Panjang Microsummit in 2025, and gathered hybrid sharings from 70 Thought Leaders.

Community Knowledge Repository
7 Knowledge Zones also became apparent as a circular bridge in order to integrate transdiciplinary expertise, practitioners with the community. BB ROSEHut Pocket Talks conducted during Green Tech Perak 2025 enabled the making visible of inter-generational, community-state-students, academia-industry, knowledge-sharing and insight-development.

Community Market of Character for Sustainable Development
The Stewardship of Glocal Commons Community Market made its rounds in Farmers Markets, Jane Goodall’s Tour of Hope 2024, International Women’s Day Market 2025, The Good Weekend SG60, International Migrants Day 2025. We began to understand the more real we are, the deeper we build real heart connections with others.

Real Solutions and Pedagogical Documentation
Our solutions and documentation remains pedagogical and true to the intent of its coming to being. If we sell ourselves in the marketplace, we become a product. If we become charity in the community place, we become someone’s beneficiary.

Make It.
We are neither a product nor a dependent. We shall make our world living, beautiful, of truthfulness, authenticity and dignity. And we shall keep innovating and building communities and marketplaces of character for sustainable development. We shall be creating a catalogue from charKOL Cottage Studios, where the depth of being human living deep in the Anthropocene, is being examined and made livable, in the marketplace.

Global Rollout
In 2026, the global rollout of Unboxing BB ROSEHut Methodology as a pre-requisite became necessary, and we formulated #1000ROSEHuts Village-in-a-Box, with starter-kits. The facilitation format was conceived as a 3-part sunROSE Dialogues:

Stewardship of Dignity and The Song of Spaces
The Happy Heart School was founded in 2014, and arguably in 2003, where motherhood was integrated into the development of freedom and development of nations. It is not possible to develop well without love. From The Happy Heart School through to The Artist’s House to BB Studio to BB LightHouse to BB ROSEHuts to #1000ROSEHuts, we learnt that we have to live everyday extraordinarily with courage, and with authenticity, and with great compassion, for ourselves and for others.
