What is a Living Rainforest Seed Bank?

Nordiyana binti Md Aini, Free Tree Society
Nordiyana has been actively engaged in heritage, community, and environmental projects across Malaysia since 2005. Her early work (2005–2012) focused on archeology and cultural heritage, including coordination for the MyBalikPulau Project, archeological excavations at Bukit Jawa and Bukit Bunuh, and the Heritage Heboh Festival.
From 2018 onward, her work expanded to community-based and environmental research, such as Community Engagement in Manong and Cultural Mapping for Kuala Kangsar and Lenggong. This involvement contributes to sustainable community development under Lembah Lenggong Sustainable Community Program.
Currently, she leads major conservation initiatives at the Korbu Perak Arboretum & Rainforest Center (KPARC) project located in Hutan Simpan Korbu in Jalong Tinggi, Sg Siput.
Her projects reflect a strong blend of heritage preservation, environmental conservation, and community empowerment.
